Argent has two different security models:

In the mobile Argent wallet, there is no seed phrase. Your account is secured through onchain recovery and encrypted recovery kit.

In Argent X, you have a seed phrase. Argent X uses a traditional seed phrase to secure your account.
The difference is by design.
Argent X combines the traditional recovery method (seed phrase) with extra protection from mobile security features, like 2-factor authentication (2FA).
This way, you get the control of a seed phrase with the added safety of 2FA for your transactions.
