Overview
Argent only supports tokens on Ethereum and Starknet.
Do not send tokens from other blockchains (e.g. Bitcoin, BSC, Solana) to your Argent address — you will lose access to those assets, and they cannot be recovered.
For a list of supported Ethereum-based tokens, see this guide.
Can I send non-Ethereum tokens (e.g. THETA, EWT, VET, BTC) to Argent?
No. Argent only supports tokens built on Ethereum and Starknet. If you send tokens from any other blockchain, there is no way to recover them.
Can I get my private key to try recovering non-Ethereum tokens?
No. Your private key:
-
Is encrypted and stays on your device
-
Is not accessible, even to Argent
-
Would not help recover tokens from other blockchains — smart contract wallets like Argent do not support this functionality
Can I switch blockchains in Argent?
No. Argent only works with the Ethereum and Starknet blockchains.
Where can I check which tokens are supported?
You can find the full list of supported tokens in this article.
Can Argent recover tokens sent from other blockchains?
No. Argent cannot retrieve tokens from non-supported blockchains under any circumstances.
Even if a blockchain supports smart contracts and Argent deployed infrastructure there, it would not be possible to access your tokens — smart contract wallets like Argent cannot be deployed to arbitrary or user-defined addresses.
