If you are using a Smart account in Argent X (an account protected by 2FA) you are able to import such account into your Argent mobile wallet.
If you have an account with no 2-factor authentication(2FA) in your Argent X and want to import it to your Argent mobile wallet, you will need to enable 2FA for it with the same email address as your Argent mobile account. You can do so by opening your Argent X wallet, going to the account you want to convert to a smart one > click Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner > under account name enable 2FA.
How to import a Smart account to Argent mobile wallet:
1. Make sure you are on the latest version of Argent mobile app and your Argent X account is up to date.
2. If you enabled 2FA for your Argent X account previously, you will see it as a Read-only account in your Argent mobile.
IMPORTANT! In order to show up in the wallet app as a read-only account, it has to have the same email address as your Argent mobile wallet.
3. Open your Argent mobile wallet and tap on the read-only account you want to import.
4. Tap Import your account now for full access.
5. Tap Scan QR code.
6. Open your Argent X wallet and go to the account you want to import.
7. Click Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner, then click the account name.
8. Click Export private key, enter your Argent X password. You will see your private key and QR code with it. Do not share either of those with anyone.
9. Scan the QR code with your Argent mobile app.
10. Authenticate the import with biometrics or passcode in your mobile wallet.
You can now use your Argent X account in Argent mobile app. Some features will be limited for Argent mobile. If this is the case, or some dapps show reduced compatibility with mobile browsers, you can still use your Argent X extension to interact with Starknet.
