To make crypto more accessible we try to cover as much of the costs as possible. We aren't, however, able to subsidise every cost as we're looking to build a sustainable business that benefits people over the long term.
What do I pay for?
- Network fees (Ethereum transaction fees, also known as 'gas'): For the most up to date list on what transaction fees are covered, please refer to this guide. You can read an introduction to what 'gas' is here. Argent does not currently take a fee for this.
- Fiat-to-crypto exchange: If you exchange fiat currency (traditional money, e.g. $, £) for crypto, you'll pay a fee to the third party provider that enables that service. Read here for details. Argent does not currently take a fee for this.
- Crypto-to-crypto: To exchange crypto-to-crypto, you'll pay a small exchange fee and the Ethereum transaction fee (gas). Read here for details. Argent does take a small part of the exchange fee.
