You can use the Argent Ethereum wallet to invest in Yearn Vaults, one of the most popular DeFi products on Ethereum. This makes yield farming easier by automating strategies and reducing manual steps.
What is Yearn?
Yearn.finance is a DeFi protocol offering automated yield generation, lending aggregation, and more. It was founded in 2020 and is now governed by the community through the Lido DAO, with changes voted on using the YFI token.
⚠️ Yearn describes its products as experimental and encourages users to do their own research before investing
What are Yearn Vaults?
Yearn Vaults (yVaults) simplify yield farming. You deposit a token (like USDC or DAI), and the vault automatically uses strategies to earn yield. When you deposit, you receive yTokens representing your share of the vault.
-
Vaults are managed by strategies, which can change over time
-
Each vault shows an estimated APY (Annual Percentage Yield), updated weekly
-
Vaults help reduce gas costs and optimize returns automatically
