I imported my wallet with seed phrase and can’t find my old wallet
You had an older version of the wallet that is not supported in the current version of Argent X. You will need to install an older version and migrate your assets to the new one. Follow this guide for instructions: How to migrate assets using older wallet version
Transaction fee is unknown or doesn’t load
This is not on us, and there’s nothing we can do about it. The transaction fee is calculated by contacting an external service provided by StarkWare. Since StarkNet is in alpha stage, this service can stop working from time to time. You should just wait a few hours. If the problem persists after a few hours, contact us on the argent-x-support channel
Can’t transfer my DAI or other non-ETH assets.
You need ETH to pay for the fees and make transactions on StarkNet. Check next question
I don’t have ETH to make transactions
You can get ETH into your Argent X account with StarkGate or LayerSwap:
- StarkGate: use it if you want to send ETH from an Ethereum wallet - (https://starkgate.starknet.io/).
- LayerSwap: use it to send ETH from an exchange (Coinbase, kraken, binance) - (https://www.layerswap.io/?destNetwork=starknet_mainnet)
Why do I have to migrate wallets?
StarkNet is in Alpha stage. This means it’s still under heavy development and there are new versions being released frequently. Some of these releases include breaking changes that change how wallets work. For some time these old wallets will be supported, but in the future they will stop working so you we encourage everyone to migrate assets to the new wallets to be able to use them.
Will I lose my transaction history after migrating wallets?
Yes, since your new wallet has a new address, not linked to the old one.
Will the contributions made by early adopters to a project disappear if the transaction history is lost?
If you’re worried about an airdrop, no dApp will be using your old address for airdrop since they all will stop working in the future.
I can’t see my question here!
