You can keep ERC-1155 and ERC-721 tokens (also called collectibles) in your Argent wallet.
We show the name, image, description & symbol for collectibles based on the NFT ERC721 standard.
Enabling ERC-1155
If you downloaded Argent after April 2021, you will have ERC-1155 already enabled.
If you have a pre-April 2021 Argent wallet you will need to enable ERC-1155 in your wallet. This requires an on-chain transaction, which in turn requires network fees ('gas'). To enable it:
- Open Argent
- account switcher (ETH or zkSync icon on the top-left in your Assets tab) > Argent Vault
- Tap Security
- Tap Enable ERC-1155
- Review network fee
- Tap Enable now
You'll see the network fee required. If it's too high you can try another time.
Network fee error when trying to send ERC-1155 out of your Argent Vault
If you see Can't estimate network fee error in your Argent Vault when trying to send ERC-1155 tokens out, it might be caused by non-standard token contract. Please use WalletConnect on https://opensea.io to transfer the token in such case.
