Changing your Argent pass code

You can change your Argent pass code. 

If you remember your Argent pass code and have the app

1. Go to account switcher (ETH or zkSync icon on the top-left in your Assets tab) > Settings > App settings
2. Change Pass code
3. Enter your current pass code
4. Enter new pass code and confirm it once again. 
5. Choose whether you want to use biometric unlock or not. 

If you don't remember your Argent pass code

You'll need to have guardians (for paid, on-chain recovery) or downloaded encrypted recovery key (for free recovery) to recover your wallet. If you do, you can start a recovery and follow these steps. 

Please do NOT follow this if you don't have guardians or downloaded the encrypted key - you risk losing access to your assets. If you don't have Guardians please follow this guide.

On iOS

1. Enter incorrect pass code 3 times
2. You will see Forgotten your pass code?. This allows you to reset your app. 
3. Go through the recovery process. 

On Android

1. Reinstall Argent app
2. On the title screen tap Get started and go through the recovery process.
